I am interested using data to drive decision making. Specifically, I enjoy developing mathematical models that utilize the ever-growing amount of data to help people make better decisions. Some kinds of projects I have had include:
- improving efficiency in manufacturing facilities
- doing business intelligence analysis of web crawling for news sources in the finance sector
- developing a decision analytic framework for assessing risks with emerging nanotechnologies
- building a model for assessing countermeasures to combat invasive wild pigs
- grassroots consulting in charge of developing a business plan for a furniture manufacturer

I'm not interested in repeating the same concepts over and over. I AM INTERESTED in creating novel applications in order to make the world a better, more efficient place.
