I will look at a problem, and consider why it is a problem. Then begin jotting down ideas on how to resolve the problem. I come up with the cheapest and simplest solution and the craziest, most expensive and imposible solution. I then work to find the most suitable solution in amongst these parameters. By having the cheapest to the most expensive and the most to simple to the craziest, I know I will consider all solutions.

- I recently increased the sale of a specific brand of hot chocolate by training staff to change the wording of the sale from, 'Is it a normal hot chocolate?' to 'Would you like the new special italian hot chocolate?' at the the point of sale. This simple change increased the italian hot chocolate sales from 20 in three weeks to 150 in the following three weeks.
