Saad Alhossin

Saad Alhossin Saad M. Alhossin was born in Sebha-Libya in 1969. He received the B.S. degree in Electrical Engineering from the University of Garyounis -Libya in 1996 and he has published the first patent called ‘Three cylindrical-2D and 3D Corner Reflector Antennas’. From 1997 to 1999, he has been employed at the Industrial Research Centre (IRC-Libya) as a full-time Research Member of The Electrical Manufactures Group. He received the M.S. and PhD degrees in Communication and Signal Processing from the University of Newcastle upon Tyne-UK in 2001 and 2006 respectively and he also has published the second patent called Abualeize Antenna (GB 2428895A). From 2007 to 2009, he has been back to the IRC-Libya as a head of the Electronics Industries Department. From 2009 to 2013 he was a member of academic staff at Aljabl Algarbee – Graian. In 2013 he has enjoyed the College of Electronic Technology-Tripoli as head of the communication department. In 2014 he became the head of scholarly affairs at the college and also the head of the council of scholarly at the same time. In 2015 he has been selected by Libyan government to be a member of the board of directors of national corps for technical & vocational education. At the moment he is also the head of RFID Libyan-Group and the manager of RFID for electromagnetic solutions Ltd; since 2010. He has experience in RF, RFID, Antenna design and signal processing. His main interests lie in the field of wave propagation and mobile communication.
