Sebastien Lacube's Problem Solving Experience:
- I developed a company proposing consulting in agriculture modeling. And the development of affordable solutions for plant science, using open-source technologies (ie: available for everyone, and thus, lower development costs).
I participated in the development of the most important crop model in the world (APSIM) and had a Ph.D. in collaboration with Graeme Hammer (the lead researcher behind the project)
I worked in collaboration with experts of the IPCC to assess the impact of climate change on European Agriculture (France, Belgium, Wheat & Maize).
I worked in collaboration with big companies to develop models for plant yield prediction based on several techniques, including machine learning, historical crop modeling (APSIM/WOFOST), and data assimilation from field sensors.
