- I developed an automation web-based tool that can be used for all DB/ETL Validations. The tool developed is a complex solution to simplify data manipulation tasks in both homogeneous and heterogeneous DB environments. It won the innovation showcase award at Dell CIO Level.
- Distributed video coding is a new paradigm for video compression. The problem lies with how to detect the even frames from the odd frames. So at first, I implemented the Extreme Learning Machine Algorithm and various other variants of ELM to identify the odd frames of a video sequence using the even frames transmitted to the decoder end. The results showed that the proposed model is more efficient than earlier one (where interpolation-extrapolation) was used.
Then I further enhanced the system performance by using Wavelets where wavelets were used to extract features from a frame and the features were fed to the ELM algorithm rather than the whole frame for better performance.
