- I have developed a system for moving water that is cheaper, both in unit cost (CAPEX) and running costs (OPEX) than other systems available. For example this unit is 50% more energy efficient than a paddlewheel used in microalgae production.
- I developed a continuous seawater treatment system to grow one of the most valuable, but difficult to grow algae, Chaetoceros calcitrans. This was the first large scale, continuous culture in the world.
