i had two classes in problem solving in College, This really needs to be taught everywhere starting in High School ! One was on how to remember things, like names and shopping lists. There was also an engineering problem solving class that helped me to find solutions to real world problems.

- i worked for a major aerospace company for 20 years as a reliability engineer. i helped both made sure new designs worked properly, and also looked at lessons learned from past mistakes.
