Vikas Kumar's Problem Solving Experience:

1. In Masdar Institute, I worked under the supervision of Dr. Peter Armstrong with a thesis focusing on optical modelling of a beam down optical experiment and final optical element design.    At Masdar Institute I also took various advanced courses: ‘Advanced Engineering Mathematics’ and ‘Estimation and Inference from Data and Models’. I can better appreciate the subtlety of inverse problem as well as forward engineering problem because of these courses.
