ELECTRIC CONNECTION & DISTRIBUTION MODULAR SYSTEM (MULTICUBOS)

Summary:
The problem to be solved:
The existing devices for interconnecting electric element with a DIN rail assembly, are expensive and can only feed elements with the same amounts of poles.
Description:
Our modular system allows parallel connection, components of the same or different amount of poles indistinctively, either these are assembled one after the other or alternatively. Quickly and without stripp the wires. (57 Amp per module)
The three components are packed in quantities adaptable to different connection schemes to optimize your purchase.
Application:
Single, two or three-phases switch-boards, with switches, circuits breakers, timing appliances, residual current devices and any other 18mm wide per pole electric element with a DIN rail assembly.
Advantages:
It can be re-used indefinitely. Circuits can be added. Assembly and connection are possible with power on. Since is modular, there is not useless extra material left The sequence of phase rotation may be modified with power on. Special tools are not necessary.

Full Description:
APPLICATIONS

Our modular system can feed circuit breakers, circuit cut-outs, power switches, timing appliances, clocks and any other 16.25 mm wide per pole electric element with a 35 mm DIN rail assembly.

It can be used for feeding elements in single-phase, two-phase, three-phase circuits and three-phase circuits with a neutral line.

If the modular terminals are combined properly, they can feed unipolar, bipolar, tripolar and tetrapolar elements indistinctively, either these are assembled one after the other or alternatively.

CONNECTING OPTIONS

After assembling the terminals and inserting the bars properly, the electric wires of flexible cord type may be introduced.

The system allows parallel connection, components of the same or different amount of poles to the wires which enter the switch-board or get out of the switches or principal residual current devices. It offers many possibilities.

ADVANTAGES OF THE SYSTEM

It can be re-used indefinitely.

Since the system is modular, its use is reasonable and different from other systems because there is not useless extra material left.

Circuits can be added.

Connected elements (power switches) can be easily replaced.

Assembly, connection and disconnection are possible even with power on.

Special tools are not necessary.

The sequence of phase rotation may be modified with power on or off.

The origin phase of every single-phase circuit can be modified with power on or off to keep the balance of the loads among phases.

Graphic visualization of the load balance among phases.

PRESENTATION

Our system allows an easy and quick connection for passing conductors of the flexible cord type of 4, 6 and 10 mm. For this reason there are three module options. They differ in the diameter of the hole for passing the wire.

The conductor bar and the connector screw have a unique size.

Consequently modules of different hole sizes can be assembled. For example, a connection of a three-phase system with a neutral line is possible. A electric wire of smaller section may be used in this case.

Besides the modules are clearly identified with the colours according to the standards to identify the neutral line of the phases.

CAPACITIES

Our terminals have passed the tests required by the IEC terms to the following current intensities: 4mm 32 Amp/ 6mm 41Amp / 10mm 57Amp

SIZE

Our system requires very little space in the switch-board. If the system is single-phase, only 27 mm are necessary between the switcher to be connected and the top of the switch-board.

53 mm will be necessary if a three-phase system with neutral line is assembled.

PACKAGING

The three components are packed in quantities adaptable to different connection schemes to optimize your purchase.

COMPONENTS

 Divisible Conducting Bar

Bar of electrolytic copper of the highest purity with a section of 16.25mm. which has been drilled, spiral shaped and slotted to allow its easy breaking up without using tools.

 Fixable Insulating Module

Body of injected thermoplastic with multiple bounding couplings which can be matched among themselves to assure immobility to the set.

The polyamide, which has been used, can be exposed to very high temperatures under permanent rate, reaching a degree of self-extinguishibility type VO according to the UL 94 regulation

 Piercing Connector Screw

Screw of brass of the highest purity, designed for piercing the insulation of the wire and establishing a steady electric contact without damaging its cord. It can be fixed with standard screwdrivers because it has got a combined phillips head. It has been made using modern automatized processes.

APPLICATION REGULATIONS

Our terminals were developed according to the IEC 60998-1/IEC 60998-2-3 regulations getting in this way the certification in IRAM and Electric Security.
In order to get such approval, they have been exposed to strict electric and mechanical tests.
Test Sequences: marks and information- Protection from electric shocks-Resistance to oldness, humidity, piercing of solid bodies and damaging water entering-Resistance to insulation and dielectric rigidity Assurance of the tightening element and conductor damages- Tension Test - Mechanical resistance- Heating test- Tests of temperature cycles- Test of short time flow-Heat resistance- Leaking lines, distances in the air and distances through filling material - Resistance to abnormal heat and fire- resistance to the leaking flows.
