This invention would protect the soil in your potted plants and flowers from young children and animals. My 11 month old and 2 year old sons love playing in the dirt from my plants. Needless to say, I am having to vacuum their mess on a daily basis. No matter what I do, they won't stay out of it. Many people have this problem with cats and dogs digging in their dirt as well. This product would be fit for the inside of your pots, be made of plastic (two peices that interlock with a hole in the middle for the plant stalk or flowers to come through) and resemble soil in order to maintain the natural look. These protectors can come in many different sizes and shapes to fit the pots people already have in their homes.
