The Shot Shaper

Summary:
A golf training aid that will teach the golfer through repetition and muscle memory how to hit a straight shot, a controlled fade in varying degrees and a controlled draw in varying degrees, without having to change their swing.

Full Description:
In golf, the ability to hit a straight shot, a fade (a ball that moves from left to right for a right-hander), or a draw (a ball that moves from right to left for a right-hander) escapes most amateur golfers. They have high handicaps because they don't keep the ball in play (in the fairway). They may be fighting a slice (a severe fade) one day or fighting a hook (a severe draw) the next. Some of these problems may be the result of a poor inconsistent swing, but more often than not, they come from improper ball position in relation to their stance at address.

"The Shot Shaper's" purpose is to be a training aid to teach the golfer through repetition and muscle memory how to align one's body and correctly position the ball in their stance in order to hit a straight shot, a controlled fade in varying degrees, and a controlled draw in varying degrees without having to change their swing. A good swing is hard to come by yet I see amateurs with good swings try to change their swings to hit a fade or a draw and end up losing their good swing pattern. With "The Shot Shaper" you don't need different swings for different shots.
