spa socks

Summary:
For moisture therapy after a pedicure, for diabetic skin care, and to prevent ulcers/bedsores on the heels of bedridden patients.

Full Description:
Spa sock is a cotton sock, that covers from the knee to the middle of the foot. The sock can also come in a shorter version much like an anklet sock. There is no toe coverage. Much like taking a sock and cutting off the tip.
The sock can be placed after the massage portion of a pedicure with lotion to lock in moisture for dry heels and to soften the feet after the pedicure. The open toes allow the pedicurist to place the sock over the heel, with the toes exposed so the nails can be painted and dry, with the heels protected and mositure retained. The pedicurist is free to place flip flops over the sock, and can even keep toe cushion/seperators in place so polish dries perfectly.
For younger consumers I would envision a colorful red or pink knee high, or a sporty fun design. Older women may prefer a nuetral and more soothing color such as off white or mint green.
For patinets that are bedridden, a gel insert in the heel protects vulnerable skin while sealing in moisture.
