VoIP Calling a domain name

Today's growing market and technology also brings an immense amount of information for us to bear on our shoulders. Not only do we need to worry about keeping track of work and personal phone contacts, but we also have to remember how to access phone numbers to stores, businesses, etc. How many people know for sure that dell's toll free number is 1 800 HP INVENT? But the majority of people are certain of their web site's domain being hp.com.

The solution to making both the consumer and the business's lives easier is to map domains to phone contacts via a simple XML config file on the server.

Sample XML config file (phoneConfig.xml):

This will require a company that has an "easy access number" (use #0101 in our example). The end user would dial 0101 and say "hp dot com" and the system would use voice recognition to translate it to "hp.com". The service would go to "http://hp.com/phoneConfig.xml" and fetch the users the options available if they turn on SelectionMenu or if it is off, it will call the DefaultNumber.

On Skype and future smartphones, this technology could be automatically detected so there is no need to dial #0101 initially. Users will be able to type in the domain name and it will dial to that business.

Problem this idea/invention addresses:
I have very technical in other aspects but am weak in the implementations of VoIP systems. I also lack the appropriate funding.
