A fractal based saw filter that enables multi band filtering of desired signals.
Fractal IDT geometry on the piezoelectric substrate will cause a multi band resonator or in other words multi band filter. It may be used with a fractal antenna to combine a multi �band compact system. A typical application is a WLAN (wi-fi) 11 b/g and 11 a band at 2.4GHz and 5GHz where if compact solution is needed the fractal filter may be handy.
