Full Description:
The Candy-Drop Cup is comprised of a clear outer cup, an inner cup, a lid, and a cover. An inclined spiral path is sculpted onto the outside surface of the inner cup and the inner cup is inserted into the clear outer cup. The inner cup is used to hold a beverage of any type. A lid is placed over the combined inner and outer cups and the cover connects to the top of the lid. The cover (above the lid) is filled with candy that will roll and a straw hole is made in the lid so a drinking straw can be inserted through the cover and lid into the inner cup so the beverage can be sipped or sucked from the inner cup. When a latch on the side of the lid is moved back-and-forth, a piece of candy will roll down and around the inclined spiral path located between the inner and outer cups. The candy never makes physical contact with the beverage; it only moves between the two cup surfaces. The candy can be clearly observed as it moves down the inclined spiral path until it reaches the dispensing slot where the user can grab the candy and eat it. The effect is loved by children and it is similar to the giant gumball spiral dispensers located everywhere. So, the Candy-Drop Cup is a drinking cup with a lid and cover that stores candy combined with a novel inclined spiral dispensing method. Kids can have a beverage and candy contained in one unit and they can have fun getting the candy from the cup! The cup can be completely disassembled for cleaning in the dishwasher.
