Full Description:
The idea is for a very thin cover/guard, made from a heat reflecting material, to be placed over each finger to protect against extremely high temperatures that are reached by hair styiling devices such as Marcel Styling Irons, Pressing combs, Flat Irons, Ceramic Irons, and Hot curlers. The guards would be made of a material thin enough to still allow flexibility of the fingers and a firm grip on the heating appliance. The guards would be washable and reuable. The product is not intended to look like a glove or mit (as that would be too restrictive to the hand movement and not allow enough flexibility). The product would be a finger sleeve in which the fingers could simply and easily be slid into the material. This product could be available to hair styling professionals, as well as, the everyday consumer who uses heated hair styling appliances.
