Collision avoidance in automobiles

In case when you are driving the automobile too fast and if the person in front of you suddenly stops the breaking efficiency and your response to the breaks and the pressure you put on breaks, the distance between the vehicle in front, will not be enough for the vehicle to stop without crashing

Full Description:
In case when you are driving the automobile too fast and if the person in front of you suddenly stops the breaking efficiency and your response to the breaks and the pressure you put on breaks, the distance between the vehicle in front, will not be enough for the vehicle to stop without crashing,

Hence we can achieve this by testing the vehicle before hand to find its efficiency of breaking without crashing by
Arriving at the table like as shown below


Speed of the vehicle traveling
In Km/hr Force applied to breaks
In Newton’s Safe distance within which the vehicle
Stops in feet’s

So now according to the table above, we have the data like if the speed of the vehicle is 120km/hr and the distance b/w vehicle traveling in front is 20ft then the force to be applied on the brakes is 50Newtons to stop the vehicle within the distance of 15feet.

So when the car is traveling at a speed of 120Km/Hr and the distance b/w the vehicle is 10ft which is less than the safe distance which is 15ft , in this case

1) Car can alert the driver about to maintain sufficient distance for the speed the car is running currently

In other case if the there is sufficient distance b/w both the cars say 20ft and the car in the front suddenly stops then
The distance monitoring equipment inside the car senses the distance b/w the car is decreasing rapidly since the car in the front is stopped and even before driver senses this and apply breaks the monitoring sys will apply breaks so that the car stops without crashing.

Or if the user slows down the speed reduces and there by the safe distance of breaking increases and allows to user to take control of the situation.
