Full Description:
FORENSIC DNA TRACE FOR THE HOME

StranDNA (UK) Limited is a new company with offices in Guildford, Surrey, United Kingdom who are offering Sales, Installation & Data Basing regarding a totally new and innovative access control system given the name “Chain Reaction” this unique security product places itself directly within the residential security market, but other applications include caravans, mobile homes, recreational and marine vehicles.

Due to the increased technical specifications incorporated into house and vehicle alarms making it far more complex to bypass any given system thieves are resorting to far more extreme methods to steal an individual’s property or to gain access to vehicle keys with the intention of theft, these crimes are known as aggravated burglaries, home invasions or forced entries. Put simply, once a home owner has gone to receive a caller at the door and opens the entrance, the caller uses force to gain access.

In response StranDNA (UK) Limited present “Chain Reaction” a crime prevention product. This unique security device has been specifically designed to ease the fear associated with such crimes but at the same time if activated assist the Police in the apprehension and detention of the individuals who perpetrate such crimes using the latest in DNA trace technology and carrying on from there be able to provide the Crown Prosecution Service with irrefutable evidence, in the prosecution of such offences in a court of law.

A definitive illegal action is required for the security device to be activated, for example an individual aggressively attempting to force entry through the front or rear door of a residence, once force of pressure has been established the security device activates sounding a 138 decibel screech alarm, drawing attention to the fact a criminal offence is taking place but at the same time evacuates a DNA trace liquid.

This is a clear non-toxic, UV based substance, this means is only visible under ultra-violet light and has a unique DNA code that when presented to clothes, skin or hair can remain for months dependant on exfoliation and the amount of time clothing is washed.

Some Police forces around the United Kingdom have the tools in place to identify this type of UV technology by way of “Black Suites” utilizing UV lighting situated in numerous Police station custody suites, or by the use of hand held UV Black Lights.

At the point of installation a registered, approved installer will take the DNA trace code supplied and will register that code at a specific residential address. There are in excess of 1 billion codes and NO two canisters are the same. Once this security device has become synonymous with a specific application, the installation of the warning sticker supplied and situated in or around the entrance, stipulating that the accommodations are protected by StranDNA we hope will be deterrent enough to deter these types of crimes taking place.

But if the warning is not heeded and indeed an attack is committed, which culminates in activation and a malicious evacuation of the device, when an arrest is made and an individual is found to be stained with this substance a Forensic Science Service are able to analyze the stain and can determine the DNA component allocated. When StranDNA (UK) Limited is provided with this unique code we are able to establish from our installations data-base the exact location to where this security device was professionally installed and registered, clearly placing the individual stained, as perpetrator or being directly associated with a specific crime.

With a static device such as “Chain Reaction” in the event of an individual carrying a DNA marker, because of the requirements involved for canister evacuation i.e. trying to force entry you have definitive proof that an illegal action took place, that being attempted home invasion or forced entry which can be pursued in a court of law. The chain of evidence will be able to establish that indeed a criminal action took place and we hope subsequently lead to a criminal being convicted.
