Electrification system using lightning energy

Summary:
Accumulation off the electrical energy, using tank LC circuit combined with crystal oscillator. Source off induction for initial accumulation, comes from magnetic field in the lightning rod during the lightning strike. Accumulated energy can be used in the existing grid or as electrical energy source.

Full Description:
After lightning strikes, magnetic field surrounding the lightning rod is used to accumulate electrical energy into inductor, which is part of the LC tank circuit. An LC circuit can store electrical energy vibrating at its resonant frequency. A capacitor stores energy in the electric field between its plates, depending on the voltage across it, and an inductor stores energy in its magnetic field, depending on the current through it. The energy oscillates back and forth between the capacitor and the inductor until (if not replenished by power from an external circuit) internal resistance makes the oscillations die out Its action, known mathematically as a harmonic oscillator, is similar to a pendulum swinging back and forth, or water sloshing back and forth in a tank. For this reason the circuit is also called a tank circuit. To avoid die out and maintain oscillation, crystal oscillator is placed in the circuit. A crystal oscillator is an electronic circuit that uses the mechanical resonance of a vibrating crystal of piezoelectric material to create an electrical signal with a very precise frequency. This frequency is commonly used to keep track of time (as in quartz wristwatches), to provide a stable clock signal for digital integrated circuits, and to stabilize frequencies for radio transmitters/receivers. The crystal oscillator circuit sustains oscillation by taking a voltage signal from the quartz resonator, amplifying it, and feeding it back to the resonator. The rate of expansion and contraction of the quartz is the resonant frequency, and is determined by the cut and size of the crystal. When the energy of the generated output frequencies matches the losses in the circuit, an oscillation can be sustained. After accumulation, this energy can be used in the existing grid, or as energy source on its own.
