Self Contained ICE TIP for Forearm Crutches

Summary:
My invention is a must for users of crutches in countries were snow and ice are part of a daily life in winters. It is is very simple and manufacturing cost is very low. It will add a retractable Ice Tip to crutches.

Full Description:
A few years ago my wife was involved in a car crash and needs to use Forearm Crutches for walking. There are icy conditions
here nearly half the year so she needs Ice Pin on each crutch. Those icepins that are available are cumbersome and ugly.
They are bolted on the outside of each crutch and they are killers of shoes and stockings. There is no way to help it but this
Ice Tip system does hit the shoes or stockings / pantyhose from time to time and ruins them.
My invention is simple and needs only 5 parts. It is so simple that it should be included in all types of crutches. It fits inside the chrutches aluminium tube except a small handle
and that points away from the person using the cruches. It needs only one move with a hand and the Ice Tip is ready and then
one move with the hand again and the Ice Tip vanishes.
My invention would be quite a catch for manufacturers of crutches because it is not just for Forearm Crutches but suits all types.
a) It answers a great need !
b) It solves quite a few problems !
c) It does save users of crutchers a lot of money. Especially women !
d) It does benefit users in countries were Ice and Snow is common !
e) It is safe, It is Very Simple and It Looks Great ! (nearly invisible).
f) It is eco friendly in both uses and manufacture !

Problem this idea/invention addresses:
Handicap issues, safety and assistance for the elderly

Auxiliary products or services for sale:
The Retractable Tip System can also be manufactured as a standalone unit that is glued to the end of the talascope tube end of Forearm Crutches. After researching a bit I find it more than likely that Forearm Crutches from various vendors have the tube diameter.
The right type of glue would be included with the new Tip System.
The buyer of the standalone system needs only to remove the rubber end of the crutch. Drill a 8mm hole through the rubber for the tip to go through. Add the glue to the end of the tube of the chrutch. Attach the Standalone unit to the end on the Crutch and then the rupper end to the new unit. The user then resets the lenght of the crutch to match the length as it was before.
