Sleep Apnea Oral Device

Summary:
A hybrid device employing 2 previously FDA approved devices working in concert to address obstructive sleep apnea and snoring.

Full Description:
A fully adjustable oral device employing a palate lifter and tongue retainer to maintain an airway during sleep for those afflicted with obstructive sleep apnea. The palate lifter keeps the soft palate from draping into the airway while the tongue retainer inhibits upward movement of the back of the tongue towards the soft palate thereby facilitating breathing during sleep.

The material used within the oral cavity has been approved by, and is on file with, the FDA . Limited testing has shown the device to be highly effective in reducing even severe apnea to well within normal levels (54.8 AHI reduction to 3 AHI and
29 AHI reduction to .6 AHI)

I am seeking a strategic and financial partner to facilitate FDA approval and design changes to improve the effectiveness of the device and to enable titration during an overnight sleep test. Will trade equity in the patent and partnership interest. Contact patent holder for more information. Would also consider an outright sale at $125,000.

Problem this idea/invention addresses:
