Illuminated Graphics

Summary:
Decals/labels (static cling or adhesive-backed) light-up in full-color when attached to any clear material that acts as a light guide; e.g. liquid-filled bottles, acrylic sheet, glass windows, etc. Light guides can be made by edge lighting with LEDs (or bottom-lighting for bottles), or for pre-installed windows, use the patented Window Puck. Strong patent coverage is included, all citing a common US Provisional filing in 2008.

Full Description:
There are two parts to this patented invention that can be seen on the website www.luminatedglazings.com:

Decals/labels - these have been manufactured on several different commercially available printers at different print shops. They are covered by US Patent No 10,048,424, and pending published application No. 2018/0364414. Claim 27 of the '424 is very broad; see https://patents.google.com/patent/US10048424.

Window Puck - three different configurations are covered by US Patent No's 8,317,352; 8,727,581; and 9,377,178. The '581 has been manufactured using injection molding. In addition to the applications previously cited, the Window Puck can also be used for touchscreens (see the patents that have cited the Window Puck patents, e.g. https://patents.google.com/patent/US9377178B2).
