Affordable Phoenix Exoskeleton Designed for Parapeglics

Affordable Phoenix Exoskeleton Designed for Parapeglics
Feb-02-16
The lightweight Phoenix exoskeleton could have paraplegics on their feet again, and at an affordable cost.

The Phoenix was created by the startup SuitX specifically with the needs of paraplegics in mind. By streamlining the design to focus on this one goal, the team was able to build a suit that is not only one of the lightest available, but at $40,000, is also relatively affordable and comfortable to use. The suit is equipped with a pair of motors located at the hip that move the legs forward, and knee joints that function as simple, locking hinges.

Although the wearer will still need the help of crutches to maintain balance and guide the system, the minimalist Phoenix suit could open new doors for paraplegics around the world.

I am interested to learn about the exoskeleton and it's application for a CDG child.
CDG stands for Congenital Disorder of Glycosylation. I was wondering if the team is around and if the robot can be tested by a CDG child.
