AI-Powered Trash Collecting Robot

An effective and affordable AI system able to detect garbage could open the door to autonomous trash collectors.The system created by the team from Vishwakarma Government Engineering College developed the robot as a way to help tackle the growing waste problem in urban areas. Dubbed automatic garbage detection and collection (AGDC), the system is made up of a robotic body equipped with machine learning algorithms and convolutional neural networks that allows the robot to detect nearby trash, travel to it, and place it in a drawer for later (proper) disposal.

Very good invention for India as we have too much garbage on our streets and roads. This make our country very uninhabitable. This could revolutionise garbage collection and disposal.
