Alchohoot Smarthphone Breathalyzer

Alchohoot Smarthphone Breathalyzer

Drink more responsibly with the Alcohoot, a smartphone-mounted breathalyzer that delivers an accurate blood alcohol reading and helps you call a taxi.

Created by Jonathan Ofir and Ben Biron, the Alcohoot communicates with the phone via Bluetooth. Connecting the device opens the application, which takes into account the user’s age, gender and weight to deliver an accurate BAC. Based upon the BAC information, the device will make recommendations such as where to find the nearest restaurant (to help sober up by eating) or the number for the nearest taxi company.

The Alcohoot can also be programmed with a TargetBAC, and will start a timer based on the user’s profile to show how long until that target is reached.
