Ava 500 Telepresence Robots Knows Its Way Around an Office
Mar-24-14
The Ava 500 telepresence robot from iRobot can learn its way around the office on its own, ensuring it never misses a meeting.

The Ava 500 stands out from the other telepresence robots on the market with its ability to autonomously map out an office building during its "exploration phase." When a meeting is scheduled, users are assigned a robot that makes it way to the office, automatically avoiding obstacles and wrong turns. When its task is complete, the Ava then returns to its charging dock until needed again.

I am very excited about this technology and I feel this is our future. My company has been provinding videoconference options to our clients for over a decade. Our clients are able to use two options, conference room or desktop to any device.
Please keep me on your mailing list as I would like to follow your progression of future developements. I would be interested to be part of any beta testing if you would need locations throughout the US.
Kind regards,
