The Bamboo Spark system from Wacom lets users digitize their doodles and notes using a the company's real-ink pen and regular A5 paper.
Instead of relying on the usual camera in the nib of the pen to digitize written notes, the Bamboo Spark system makes use of smart folio placed beneath the paper. The folio is equipped with a magnetic resonance board that enables it to record pen strokes by sensing the location of the Bamboo Spark pen’s tip. The Spark folio can hold up to 100 pages of scribbles, which can be sent to a paired device with the push of a button.
