Barcode Room Gives Many Faces to Small Spaces

Barcode Room Gives Many Faces to Small Spaces
Dec-10-12
The Barcode Room can be arranged easily into a variety of spaces to suit the needs throughout the day, making small-space living a bit more flexible.

Designed by Studio_01, the concept studio apartment consists of walls that are able to move easily from side to side. Each wall, called a furniture-wall, is made from a selection of 12 components that are arranged to make a single bar, such as a kitchen bar, living bar or sleeping bar. As the walls are re-arranged the embedded furniture can be pulled out or unfolded as needed, creating interior windows that provide a sense of connectivity between the rooms.
