Bedside MRI Costs 20X Less

Mar-02-20 Hyperfine Research has developed a bedside Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI) system that is 20X lower cost, 35X lower power consumption, and 10X lower weight than a conventional fixed MRI.

Six years in the making, the device received FDA clearance to begin shipments this summer. The system is highly portable and can be wheeled directly to the patient's bedside. It can be plugged into a standard electrical outlet and is controlled by a wireless tablet.

The Hyperfine point-of-care MRI makes the technology accessible anytime, anywhere, to any patient.
