Betaray Harvests Solar Energy on a Cloudy Day

Betaray Harvests Solar Energy on a Cloudy Day
Dec-22-13
The Rawlemon Betaray is now more powerful than ever, able to harvest energy from the moon and clouds as well as the sun.

The globe-shaped device first appeared in 2012, when it demonstrated its impressive ability to concentrate sunlight and moonlight up to 10,000 times for a 35 percent increase in efficiency. Following up on the success of their design, the team at Rawlemon improved upon it to create the Betaray, which is able to concentrate diffuse light—including that from an overcast or cloudy sky. Similar to the previous iteration, the Betaray uses dual axis tracking to harness solar energy, and it can be easily fitted into the wall or ceiling of a building.

Hi I'm very interested, what's the actual cost for one of these units, also does it require an inverter?
