Based on established technologies of harvesting electricity from photosynthesis, the Bioo planter is equipped with a pair of panels under the soil that harvest the electrons released during the process. The Bioo Lite is a scaled-down version of the company’s larger panels, and packs the panels, planter, and USB port within a compact unit. Power will be generated both day and night, allowing for up to three charges per day.
