BlackBelt 3D Printer Creates Ultra-Long Objects

Jun-02-17 The BlackBelt 3D printer can print extremely long objects in a single run.

Developed by Stephan Schürmann, the BlackBelt creates its ultra-long printed objects with the help of a carbon fiber composite conveyor belt, which can be further extended with a roller module unit. As well as printing a continuous, long object, the BlackBelt can also print in series production and create horizontal overhangs without the need for a support material.
