Bonebridge Wireless Hearing Aid System

Bonebridge Wireless Hearing Aid System
Jul-28-18
The Bonebridge system from Med-El is the first wireless, bone conduction hearing aid.

Recently receiving de nova FDA clearance, the implant and audio processor of the Bonebridge system attach to each other via magnets, with the processor section available in a range of colors. As the processor captures the sound, it is transmitted wirelessly to the implant, which creates vibrations to produce hearing in people with an array of hearing impairments. Because the system is wireless, the risk of infections is much less than with traditional implants.
