Bootlegger Hydration Pack Designed for Skiers

Feb-01-13 A new hydration pack from CamelBak was designed with skiers in mind—fitting under the jacket and more closely to the body.

Hydration packs are convenient, but they can be problematic while skiing. The water tends to freeze in the cold, and the bulky pack is a bit uncomfortable while riding the chair lift. The Bootlegger hydration pack helps eliminate these problems with its streamlined design meant to be worn under a jacket. Because it is closer to the body and out of the direct cold, the wearer’s body heat should keep the water from freezing. The slimmer design is also more comfortable while riding the lift, allowing the wearer to sit back in the chair.

CamelBak plans to release the new pack in September.
