Developed for children ages one to four, the Buddy Life-Collar is meant to be worn around the neck, where its slender form will not hamper movement. However, if the sensors in the collar make contact with the water, the Buddy’s four airbags will fully inflate in less than three seconds, ensuring the child’s head does not sink below the water. After the child is rescued, the Buddy collar can be easily removed.
