The CardioInsight 3D cardiac mapping vest locates the source of arrhythmias noninvasively via its impressive electrode array.
Typically, cardiac mapping requires a catheter, which is uncomfortable, expensive and risky. As an alternative, the CardioInsight ECG vest is equipped with 252 electrodes that gather the heart’s electrical signal data as the patient is in a CT scanner. This data is then used to create a 3D cardiac map that allows the doctor to map the heart’s rhythms, and the process can be carried out in the clinic or at the patient’s bedside.
