Carv Ski Sensor Improves Performance

Carv Ski Sensor Improves Performance
May-02-16
Inspired by Olympic technology, the Carv invention slips inside your boot to make you a better skier.

Created by the UK-based MotionMetrics, the Carv attaches to the skier’s boot, where it will communicate wirelessly with a smartphone to send real time data about the skiing technique. The sensor-laden liner-like insert records pressure with its 48 sensors, gathering information about weight placement and acceleration. This data will be sent to a paired device for immediate review, and will also be used to compile metrics that help identify habits and performance trends.
