Feb-19-17
The CeleX ultrafast camera could help self-driving cars and drones navigate better in bad weather.

Developed by a team from Nanyang Technological University, the ultra-high contrast camera is able to record changes of light intensity in nanoseconds, enabling it to detect objects in the dark. The CeleX camera also boasts an onboard circuit that allows it to instantly analyze the scene, and the image data is stored in a smaller than standard format, saving space.
