CIO Bikelight Shines Bright without Batteries

Instead of friction, which saps performance from the bike, the CIO relies on 100 percent magnetic energy to power its bright, flashing LED. The CIO is both smaller and brighter than the company’s previous version, requiring just one ‘coin-sized’ magnet per wheel while still outputting up to six times more power. The lights are also designed to be permanently mounted to the fork, where they will come on automatically when the bike is in motion.
