Sep-09-19
The Cit-E backpack from Yves Saint Laurent features a smart strap powered by Google’s Project Jacquard.

The backpack, which boasts a sleek urban style, includes a tiny module containing the battery and hardware that fits in a hole in the main compartment. The module then pairs with the user’s phone to allow the left shoulder strap of the Cit-E pack to respond to touch gestures, such as swipes, taps and being covered up. These gestures can in turn be used to control the phone, such as changing music choices or listening to messages, although the exact functions have not been announced yet.
