Cito Smartwatch Flips and Twists for Better Views

Cito Smartwatch Flips and Twists for Better Views
May-09-17
The Cito Smartwatch moves in five different directions to grab attention and make viewing easier.

Still in the prototype phase, the Cito’s hinged watchface can lift, twist, and slide to provide different viewing angles. According to the team, the watch face can orbit around the wristband to face the wearer, hinge upward to allow someone else to view the watch face, or even slip in and out from under shirt sleeves.

The developers, from Dartmouth in the US and the University of Waterloo in Canada, hope the Cito and its unique functions could also help people with physical disabilities.
