ColorPhase Camo Clothing Shift Change with the Seasons

Dec-16-13 The ColorPhase camouflage clothing line from Cabela’s changes color with the seasons, shifting from the browns and reds of fall to the greens of spring and summer.

The clothing is printed with “rapid-change, temperature-activated dye,” that will shift from green to brown when the temperature drops below 65°, although other factors, such as wind, sunlight or body temperature, can also cause the colors to shift somewhat. The clothing collection includes patterns for woodlands and “western” areas, and includes jackets, pants and hats.

The material could also have potential applications in military camo clothing.
