COMAN Bipedal Robot Could Work With Humans
Sep-27-17
The COMAN bipedal robot could one day be helping humans in the home.
The COMAN (Compliant Humanoid) robot is part of a project by Swiss researchers to build a robot able to walk like a human. The robot features flexible joints embedded with torque sensors, as well as an algorithm that allows it to understand its body in order to navigate challenging terrain.

The ultimate goal of the team is to create a bipedal robot able to work independently as well as alongside a human to complete a task cooperatively.
