Keep track of your walking and running patterns, and reduce the risk of injury, with the Sensoria Smart Socks.
Created by the startup Heapsylon, the Sensoria socks are embedded with an array of pressure sensors able to measure the impact level on specific areas of the foot and heel. The information is sent via a Bluetooth-equipped anklet to a computer, allowing the user to determine if their walking and running habits are unsafe or simply less than optimal. The information can be saved and accessed later, or the wearer can opt for real-time alerts to help in breaking bad walking habits.
The socks are also machine washable, and, according to the developers, soft and comfortable.
