ConFlexPave Concrete Installs Faster, Lasts Longer

Aug-22-16 The innovative ConFlexPave concrete is stronger than conventional versions, but also flexible, which could drastically reduce installation time.

Developed by a team at Nanyang Technological University, the concrete features a polymer microfiber that allows it to bend without cracking. This extra ruggedness means the concrete slabs could be pre-cut into slim slabs for pavement, without breaking. According to the team, this could lead to a sort of plug-and-play installation, which could halve installation time while also requiring less maintenance.
