Connection Key Diagnoses Engine Health and Recommends a Mechanic

The Connection Key plugs into the vehicle's OBD-II port, which has been standard on gasoline cars since 1996. From there, it will track the car's mechanical health and send relevant updates and alerts to a paired smartphone via Bluetooth. General maintenance schedules, such as oil changes or brake inspections, can also be accessed on the smartphone app.

While there are a few other such diagnostic devices on the market, the Connection Key stands out from the pack in that the app will recommend a mechanic from the Mechanic Advisor's database of more than 500,000 car repair shops, complete with reviews. Users can also speak with a mechanic about a specific issue through the app's Ask a Mechanic Feature.
