Created by Paul and Pam Mott, who lost their dog to coyotes, the CoyoteVest fits around small dogs, where its puncture-resistant Kevlar protects against the predator’s teeth. A spiked collar and tall, slender quills offer further protection against neck and body bites. The CoyoteVest can also be equipped with the “CoyoteZapper,” which allows the pet owner to deliver a shock to the predator if it picks up the pet in its jaws.
