Creating Fuel From Used Tires

Dec-03-16 A new technology from the Australian startup Green Distillation Technologies would see old tires recycled as fuel.

The technology involves using a destructive distillation process that breaks down tires into carbon, steel and oil. The process creates no waste or emissions, and the resulting oil offers a performance similar to diesel’s, with the added bonus of a cleaner burning fuel.
