Diabeloop DBLG1 Mimicks the Pancreas

Nov-23-18 The DBLG1 glucose management system from Diabeloop replicates the pancreas’s function.

Developed for patients with type 1 diabetes, the DBLG1 device features a hybrid-closed loop system and relies on smart algorithms able to monitor and predict blood sugar levels. This allows the system to command the patient’s insulin pump to operate at the most effective rate, adapting to changing levels and essentially replicating the actions of the pancreas.

The DBLG1 recently received the European CE Mark of approval for the device.
