Designed for the visually impaired, the Dot Watch will translate messages from the user’s phone into Braille.
The Dot Watch was created in part to help reduce the amount of sound-based assistance required by the visually impaired, allowing for more privacy. It will communicate with a paired smartphone to translate a variety of messages, including text, map directions, and emails, to Braille. The users can respond to the messages or change the information displayed on the watch face by pushing a button on the side of the watch.
